Jewellery is never just made — it is imagined, shaped, refined, and brought to life through a delicate balance of artistry and engineering. At Zevari London, every piece of jewellery begins long before gold is melted or silver is polished. It begins with you.

From a simple idea to a finished piece resting in your hands, the journey is layered with intention, precision, and craftsmanship. Here is how your story transforms from sketch to precious metal.

Phase 1: The Creative Consultation

The journey doesn’t start with metal; it starts with a conversation. Whether it’s a meaningful name, a family name, or a personal mantra, the first step is translating your narrative into a visual form.

Every piece we create is deeply personal. During this stage, we listen carefully — not just to the words you choose, but to the emotion behind them. Is this a gift? A tribute? A reminder of heritage? The intention shapes the design just as much as the jewellery itself.

The Creative Consultation
The Vision

We discuss the aesthetic direction. Should it feel bold and modern with clean, Or flowing and traditional, echoing centuries of classical artistry? The mood of the piece sets its foundation.

The Script Style

This is where the magic begins to take form. Arabic calligraphy is rich with personality, and each script carries its own voice:

* Kufic – For those drawn to geometric precision and architectural strength.
* Thuluth or Diwani – For those who desire something lyrical, fluid, and ornate.

The choice of script transforms the same word into entirely different visual expressions.

The Materials

We then guide you in selecting the perfect precious metal palette. From the timeless warmth of 18k yellow gold to the cool luminescence of sterling silver or the romantic blush of rose gold, each metal carries its own character. Together, these decisions shape a design that feels uniquely yours.

This phase is thoughtful and collaborative — the blueprint of everything that follows.

Phase 2: Precision in Pixels (The CAD Design)

Once the design direction is finalised, we step into our digital atelier. Here, tradition meets technology.

Using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, we meticulously translate the approved calligraphy into a precise three-dimensional model. Every curve, stroke, and proportion is refined with microscopic accuracy. What once lived as ink on paper now becomes a sculptural form.

Phase 3: The Alchemy of Casting

With the digital model perfected, we transition from the screen to the studio. This is where centuries-old craftsmanship takes centre stage through the revered tradition of lost-wax casting.

It is here that your design begins its transformation from concept to tangible form.

The Wax Prototype

A high-resolution 3D printer outputs the CAD file, creating a detailed resin model. This prototype captures every intricate curve of the calligraphy — every flourish, every delicate intersection.

The Investment

The resin model is placed inside a flask and encased in a specialised ceramic mould, known as “investment.” It is carefully secured to preserve every detail.

The Burnout

The mould is then placed in a kiln and heated to extreme temperatures. The wax or resin vaporises — becoming “lost” — and leaves behind a flawless hollow silhouette within the ceramic shell.

The Infusion

In a moment that feels like true alchemy, molten precious metal is centrifugal-cast into the mould. The liquid gold or silver surges into the cavity, filling the space where the wax once lived. As it cools and solidifies, your design is reborn — now in precious metal.

What was once an idea is now something solid, weighty, and real.

Phase 4: The Human Touch (Hand-Finishing)

While technology shapes the structure, only human hands can give the piece its soul.

When the raw casting emerges from its mould, it is beautiful — but unfinished. This is where our artisans step in.

Mounting & Assembly

If the design includes multiple components or requires stone setting, each element is meticulously assembled by hand. Precision and patience guide every movement.

Hand-Polishing

Using a series of polishing wheels and compounds, we refine the surface to its final finish. Whether high-shine or satin matte, the texture is perfected until the metal radiates light.

Final Inspection

Before it leaves our studio, every piece undergoes careful inspection. We ensure the jewellery remains crisp and legible, the metal flawless, and the overall finish worthy of being called wearable art.

Only then is it ready for its new home.
